Sticky notes
In general in the past I've used sticky notes when my teachers forced me to or to mark my favourite passage in a book I'm reading however the other day I was cleaning my room (a proper move the furniture and vaccuum clean) and wedged between the wall and baseboard behind my chair I found a pack of girly sticky notes I was given at some point this summer. At first I just stuffed them in my desk drawer but then a day later or so I pulled them out and now I've started writing a few words or quotes or statistics I find on sticking them on my wall above my desk.
For example one says; "only 4% of women around the world consider themselves beautiful" which I pulled off a TedX talk. These sticky notes represent things I want to spend more time thinking, that make me reflect or inspire me.
I don't know why looking at these sticky notes makes me really happy but it does, it reminds me of spending time just in thought. For those who don't know I'm a bit of a pinterest addict, I spend quite a fair bit or time looking at home stuff, fashion, quotes, etc. But the thing is when I find a quote I like and I pin I tend to just forget it and I pin them because they affect me or answer a question I have in my life and then I forget about them. With the sticky notes though I can find a quote I like and just put it up on my wall where I'll see it every time I sit at my desk and it can make me feel good every time. And when the space under my shelf that has yet to go up is full, well then I'll have to look and see which ones still apply to my life.

For now my wall of notes is small but I know it will grow. I think its a neat little project for me to keep going and something that will make me smile everyday. That's the point of this among all the other little things I've been adding to my life, to make me happier and to make me feel inspired and motivated to change my life as well as others'.
