Quebec City - Weekend Getaway
Just a few weekends ago I was invited on a impromtu girls weekend in Quebec City. It's a few hours drive away from where I live, and was a great oppurtunity to get away and see a beautiful city.
Its hard to capture a such an fantastic weekend into just a few pictures for a blog, and even putting it in to words wouldn't do it grace. The food was delicious, the boutiques were quaint, the architecture was old European, and the street entertainment was diverting.
It was a much needed holiday, and the trip made me realize just how much my heart is set on traveling. The sites we're amazing, and having learned the history of the battles here and the sieges, it felt slightly unreal to be walking barefoot where blood had been shed.
