What girls do for beauty | Hair mask

This is a new blog segment where i share home recipes and reviews for beauty products, skin care, hair care etc.

For the first post in this segment, i will be sharing a hair mask recipe that worked wonders in my hair (thick curly dry hair) and an adapted version for thinner and straighter hair types.
Now I can not claim this to do wonders but i personnally loved the way my hair looked the next morning. This hair mask softened hair, and gave it a healthy shine.
This batch was enough for two long haired people, if you have extra you can always refrigerate it but to finish it as quickly as possible.

So without further a due lets take a look at the recipe:

With almond bits :)
-2 eggs
- 2 bananas
- 3 tbsp of honey
-1 tbsp of olive oil
-2 tbsp plain greek yogurt
- 2-3 tbsp of pure almond extract (or almond milk)

* be careful, i ran out of almond extract and tried to use crushed almonds, they came out of my hair fine but my friends hair had almonds in it for 2 days

After applying the mask throughout your hair, pop a plastic bag or whatever you prefer on your head and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Wash it out thoroughly with conditioner. For full effect with curly hair, i suggest "plopping" your hair.
(Here's a link on plopping: http://www.wikihow.com/Plop-Your-Hair)

Until next time :) Enjoy the weather and take some time to kick back and relax.
